Kitchen Party welcomes Late Night Audio

Yes indeed what a fabulous night it was. Late Night Audio residents Danny Clark and Toby Tobias stopped by the kitchen for an old fashioned rump shakin' knees up. Their brand of hypnotic deep disco and house was a perfect compliment to our little kitchen and we thank them for the experience.

Late Night Audio takes place on the second friday of every month @ Bar 54 in fabulous East London. Guests joining Danny and Toby have included Glimpse (Live), Tobias Becker (Kompakt), Pete Herbert and Phil Mison (Reverso 68), Neil Thornton, Johnny Hiller (Lazermagnetic), Geddes (mulletover), Cyril K (Dialect Records), Tom Demac Live (Audio Electronique), The A Human (Live), Baby G (L.S.B - Barcelona) Dan Berkson and James What (Pokerflat-Live),Fabrizio Mammarella, Brontosaurus, Frank Tope, Mark E, Rob J,Diesel (X-press 2), Jimpster, Radioslave, Serge Santiago, Bill Brewster, Dan Foat, Audio Fly (Mood Music)...and many more. With a line up like that, you know it's gonna be good. The later the better....baby!

Kitchen Party goes to Bestival

Now that we've finally recovered from Bestival we can look back and reflect on how truely awesome it was. For those of you who don't know, Bestival is a three day music/art/performance festival that takes place on the Isle of Wight UK. Bestival has just completed its fourth and undoubtably its best installment. Not to say that the other years haven't been good, let's just say the progression has been tremendous.

This year the Kitchen Party crew was out in full force enjoying some of the world's best bands and djs. The Beastie Boys (twice!), Chemical Brothers, Gossip, Primal Scream, Francois K, Erol Alken, Simian Mobile Disco...the list goes on and on. I'm sure that we can all agree the Beasties instrumental set on Sunday was nothing short of mind blowing and the closing party with Giles and James of secretsundaze was as inspiring as they come... nice job Bestival team (especially you, Dunc)!

"man, this Bestival is some crazy shit" -Ad Rock
"this is, like, the best festival we've ever played, we wanna come
back" -MCA
"what's up all you pirate motherfuckers!" -Mike D

Here's a few photos taken by the crew:

Here's a slideshow from this past weekend's Kitchen Party with Hugo Barritt. Hugo's been on the London scene for many years and his set was unbelievable! Hugo's brand of deep tech house rocked the Kitchen to the core. His set will be available soon on www.kitchenparty.tv for your audio/visual pleasure. Stay tuned!

Kitchen Party goes on location at Secretsundaze

Here at Kitchen Party we love to throw down in our kitchen and garden. But we also love to go out to lots of underground parties around London. There are some amazing events happening every weekend where the world's best dj's and vj's show up and play the choicest house music and techno. Our aim is to go along to some of these events with our cameras and make some behind the scenes shorts that give you a taste of what its all about. We will put these shows in the Behind the Scenes area at www.kitchenparty.tv. Our first offering for you will be from (in our humble opinions) one of the best parties in the world...Secretsundaze. Secretsundaze is an underground staple here in London showcasing some of the best house and techno dj's around. We'll be streaming that show for you soon for free and on demand. In the meantime, here's a glimse...

Our hope is that all you ravers out there will do the same. Show us how you guys party where you live! Just click the red button above on the right that says 'Become A Member' to email us your details. Then you'll be able to post your own pics, vids, music and discussion.

Kitchen Party loves House music. Come blog with us!

Hey kids,

Well we've been re-grouping here at Kitchen Party after the initial push to get things off the ground. We've had incredible response from all over the world...so much so that our inbox is over flowing! That's why we've decided to start this blog page so all you lovely people can post your comments here instead. We're hoping you'll get creative with it and show us (and the world) how you party in your neck of the woods. So don't be shy, let's get this ball rollin!

On the Kitchen Party front, we've got some great dj's coming up for you from the likes of: Hugo Alexis (2 Feet Deep), Giles Smith (Secret Sundaze) and another show from the legendary Jonny Rock (Music for Freaks). We're also going to be doing some Kitchen Party on location where we showcase some choice underground happenings here in London. It's all about the house music! Keep a look out in the Behind the Scenes area at www.kitchenparty.tv for these exclusive shows.
